By they way, a number of older Pentax and Canon lenses also suffer
from yellowing due to "radioactive" thorium glass, cured through intense
sunlight exposure for a couple of days.

Were all 24/2.0's multicoated? Because my 24mm has an early serial  
number,
but no designation such as F.Zuiko (only "Zuiko) and has a MC  
indication. It is
a silvernose though.

If it's a very early lens, maybe they also used thorium glass. If it's  
a later model
though, it's definitely something else I think.
