The magazine is heavy on the graphics artist techniques than 
techniques for the photographer but occasionally there is
something good. The 15% discount on software can sometimes
offset the cost of NAPP membership fee.

If you are into Photoshop techniques, it is a decent magazine. But
I suspect you can find just as good stuff online with a little searching.
I would say the http://www.dgrin.com/ site has more info than NAPP.
I'm a continuing member of NAPP as I like the magazine anyway,
but it depends on what you are looking for.
