She's semi-retired now. She only kills maybe one mouse a week now, and she
sleeps a lot. When she was young, she was a hard worker though. She'd stay
out all day killing, and she'd leave huge piles of dead mice and moles
behind the house. She also killed a lot of rabbits and chipmunks, but they
must have tasted good because she usually ate them. One time she brought a
rattlesnake's head into the house. Grandpa fed her well, and the dog stayed
out of her way. She ruled the place.
