I'll let you be the judge, sure looks like red-eye to me.

Taken with OM-2s using T20 on BG2 pointed straight up. I don't recall what 
lens was used.

Here's what I came up with after fixing it, but it was a pain in the you 
know what. I'd much rather find a way to avoid the problem in the first 
place.
