Yes. The Ti is a manual only camera, except when using flash, where it
offers TTL flash exposure..but you have to manually set the shutter speed to
what you want to use (anything from 1/60 on down works for normal TTL. I
think you can do the F280 for FP flash too!).

The 4Ti only offers TTL auto in Autoexposure mode, where it sets the shutter
automatically to 1/60. You can, however, use FP mode with the F280 in manual
mode on the 4Ti! Confused yet?  LOL
