The cheap generic adapters seem to work okay for the optics. The one I had
loosened up which could be solved by inserting a knife blade in some slots
to spread the aluminum apart. Eventually the locking mechanism failed - soft
aluminum.

The fotodiox adapters seem to be best. There also seems to be a clone of
fotodiox which looks identical.

Keep your eyes open. They are sometimes available "cheep, cheep - might not
need to be the early bird". Ex: 350132423863(sold). The Nikon to EOS I have
doesn't have any labels on the faces of the mount.

Subject: [OM] OM to Canon adapter

Hi all,
Slightly different take on adapters...STILL with Olympus content.
I have evolved into a 2 system setup. I use an Olympus E1, and E510 with an
assortment of Zuiko lenses.
I would like to try macro with my Canon 40D using my Zuiko 80mm and 135mm
macro heads, as well as trying my 100mm f2.8.....24mm f2.8...35mm shift lens
etc.
Can anyone recommend a good Canon to Olympus adapter, or are they all
similar/ Any ones to avoid? Any comments / experiences would be helpful.
