The preflash issue  with TTL modes in digital cams is a separate but 
equal issue.  The "delay" mode in the SB26 was designed to prevent 
interactions when used as a slave with main flashes that had no 
pre-flash.  The SB26 will fire twice when used on can/nik with main 
flash in TTL mode due to the pre-flash whether in delay or regular 
mode. Perhaps a smart enough slave trigger exists to deal with both 
issues though Dr. Flash's recommended experiment would be interesting 
to see whether the yabe slaves do indeed induce a delay long enough to 
prevent substantial interactions.
