Actually, the bokeh in 1_37_500is pretty ugly. And the bricks in
2_18_500 aren't great.
It seems to me that bokeh for any given lens varies with the combination
of f-stop, subject distance and background distance. For example, the
50/3.5, used at close-up/marco distances with distant background, has
really terrible bokeh. Used as a normal 50mm lens, it's not bad.
I might have tried a Moosification, but the images are full of small
artifacts. I don't know if it's too much JPEG compression, poor
downsizing or what, but it's pretty noticeable.
I've pulled some of my older gallery images, and plan to do more, as my
skills have improved and I find the earlier work not up to snuff.
