The free Olympus Viewer that shipped with the E-1 can connect to the
internet and do an update. I haven't looked for several months but I believe
the last update was at least a year ago.

For the E-thingy users out there, I was curious about the firmware on my
E-1, 14-54 and FL-50 flash. I thought Oly Master 2 would do that, but it
will not see my camera. So I called Oly about it and they said it will not
see my E-1, that I should use Oly Studio 2. They sent me a link to download
it for a 30 trial, so I'm guessing it will cost something to use after that.
How have any one else done this? Are there any current updates for any of
these? The biggest gripe I have is low light focus, although I doubt much
being done now the E-3 is out. TIA,
