[OM] Calling the lists native German speakers

Subject: [OM] Calling the lists native German speakers

I believe that the German translation for "single lens reflex" or simply
"reflex camera" is spiegelreflexkamera or, perhaps, einäugige Reflex
which I have seen in an early Ihagee dictionary of camera terminology.

My question is what is the most commonly accepted word for and whether
there is a commonly accepted German abbreviation or acronym equivalent
to the English "SLR" for Single Lens Reflex.

Thanks,
Chuck Norcutt
