When on the road, use gmail Chris, just as I am doing now. It doesn't mind
how you connect.

No, I do it all the time. I have around 9 email accounts, all set up on my
email client. I often forget to set the right sending account and
correspondents then reply to the wrong account.
And when I'm on the road I have trouble with sending emails to the List as I
am on the wrong smtp.
