I should say that Dan's book on Lab is more difficult
because it is attempting to get one to "think" in terms of photoshop
rather than just following the steps, 1 2 3. Hence some familiarity
with how PS works is helpful. So if you are looking to expand
beyond the step-wise approach to PS, this is a good book.
Even if all one does is read the first few chapters.
Whenever I read books, I usually have a problem I'm attempting
to solve myself. And why this list is a nice resource to have.
