I was fuming about that one the other day. It was changed from the  
"...to boldly go where no man has gone before." in the original Star  
Trek series to a more PC "...no-one has gone..." but they retained  
the awful, awful adverbially split infinitive. Did not anyone  
notice?! I'll bet that someone pointed it out but that a decision was  
made in some committee tokeep it for reasons of...oh, tradition or  
something. I don't mind a reasonable split infinitive at all but that  
one is so clearly, horribly and obviously WRONG!
It appears that political correctness trumps good grammar.
