It was already at ISO 3200 and the lens was usually wide open or close 
to it at f/2.8 or f/3.2.  There's no more headroom except to use an even 
faster shutter speed and seriously underexpose by about 2 stops. 
Pulling an image out of the ISO 3200 shadows will not likely be pretty.

50 and 85mm primes would have gotten 93% of the shots and a 35mm would 
have gotten the rest.  All are available in f/1.4... at a price. 
Swapping lenses in the dark and fast enough to go with the flow would be 
difficult at best.
