Hi All,
Over the holidays I had a brain wave - well I think that's what it was,
anyway I wanted to look at some old pictures from my home town and then
thought wouldn't it be great if I could see pictures from the fifties of
the house that I live in now, from when it was new.
I did some searching and found no such central repository for pictures
so I registered the domain www.picturepedia.org, built the website put
it up and then quickly added a gallery and forum.
What I need is thought and ideas on the best way to categorise and name
the albums, it will then also need pictures loading up and I need some
advice on copyright wording etc, e.g something along the lines of the
uploader must have rights to upload and downloading is only possible
with consent from the uploader. plus any other legal advice you are nice
enough to give me
Of course you may think its a crap idea - but to form that opinion you
have to visit the website first and see!
