Ken, you probably have used a resolution chart, I did the test with real 
life objects in Nov 2005 with Capture one, CS2, Olympus RAW and RSE. There 
were no obvious different in resolution:

Of course it was with E-1 files and that is what we are discussing. Ok, I 
just referred to pure resolution in general situation, for specific scene I 
do found some perform better than the others in resolving details but this 
is rare.
