Fast refers to the speed at which cash leaves your wallet when  
purchasing f2.8 constant aperture pro-zooms.
An f1.0 is actually quite slow when you're trying to find the actual,  
paper thin plane of focus.
And one focuses in total darkness with - a focus assist light.
