Chuck,

The Olympus interval timer is only a two conductor bayonet. I don't 
remember if the 2 conductor bayonet can be used in a 3 conductor or no. 
Looks like the 2 might work in the stereo. In any case what would be 
slick is if I could squeeze  a  bayonet socket into the switch body. 
Then I wouldn't have to butcher clone shutter cable up for the 
connector, and I could use any circuitry that might be there too. I 
think it's a long shot, but I'll look at it when I get it.
