Hey Ian,

That is one cute kid!
Gladly you got some image out of the film; I recently mis exposed a
Portra 100F @ 400 ASA. Luckily I found out directly after exposing and
dropped it off at a pro lab nearby for push processing.

Regarding your pics, the grain is very heavy from the increased
development. This makes the images odd. Besides, I guess you just had
your focus off. On the first pic, the foot looks in focus, on the
second one, the zipper seems to be infocus.
