I have two jinfinance OM->EOS adapters bought perhaps 2 years ago. The
nominal thickness should be 2.00 mm. The jinfinance adapters measure
1.97mm. I have another adapter bought early on when the price was about
$100 that measures 2.01mm. That adapter will mount any OM mount lens I
own. The jinfinance adapters mount on the camera very easily and
readily fit any Zuiko lens. However, it will not fit three of my third
party lenses. They're just too tight. Of the three that don't fit the
only one of importance is the Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 macro so the older
adapter lives on that lens. Since the adapter is too fat by 0.01mm it
technically can't focus to infinity but the hyperfocal distance for a
90mm lens at f/2.5 is only 97 meters so infinity is only a theoretical
problem. I suspect the same is true of the adapter that's too thin by
0.03mm... well within the DOF even wide open.
