You can set physical dimensions and resolution which will generate the
number of pixels. Or you can set the number of pixels. Or you can set
the pixel dimensions and the resolution which will tell you the physical
size of the image. However, the physical size of the image is only
realized if the application pays attention to the resolution value. Few
actually do. Printers generally produce what they're explicitly told to
do. They don't query data embedded in the image to determine print
resolution and dimensions.
