Moderately familiar with tornados (which tend to be rather mild in
Florida). I've seen two in Florida (one in my back yard in Boca Raton)
and the aftermath of one in Michigan. I'm more intimately familiar with
hurricanes having lived through Andrew (Aug., 1992) and several others.
