Olympus lens for loupe is not off topic, it has been discussed long ago for
using 50/1.8 as loupe. The 50/1.4 is not so proper, I have a SC5xx,xxx
50/1.4 and a MC1,09x,xxx both show the same result when using as loupe, it
was ok but not as sharp as the 50/1.8.
With a 50/1.8 you can adjust the focus by adding stepping ring or filter in
front of the lens. For 50/1.4 there is no room for adjustment.
Does both of your 50/1.4 has filter or filter of the same thickness? It will
cause some difference.
