This is not the official word from Olympus but... I was subjected to open
showers just a few days ago with the E-30 in hand. Other than to try to
avoid rain getting to the front of the 14-54mm, the whole outfit was pretty
much exposed. Like that infamous promo picture of water drops on the E-3,
mine was no different. Granted it wasn't the usual tropical rainstorm but it
was enough to give it a reasonable test. And it came through very well...at
least it still turns on the last time I looked at the E-30.  :)
