 From what I saw on the web about actually doing this for a simple home 
user, it seemed to me that simply buying a quad core machine, Win64 and 
lots of memory would be worth the time saved and my sanity. Happy with 
dual core and 3GB for now.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure enough of to say so. Thanks.
