Thanx! She's a real sweetie most of the time. Right now she's lying at
the left of my chair, waiting patiently for me to quit fiddling with
my computer and take her for a walk. From time to time she makes a
deep groaning sound just to remind me she's there. Every day it's the
same. She's glued to my hip until I take her walking. Then she climbs
up on the sofa and takes a nap.

I was pleased with the detail in the chains. Don't know if it had
anything to do with it, but on these I sharpened the images in ACR and
reduced them using CS4's Bicubic Sharper. No other sharpening. They
seemed to hold up pretty well, and like I told Nico, the print of
Metal shows a remarkable amount of detail, even on matte paper. As I
use Qimage for most of my printing, and it adds what it considers the
right amount of sharpening, I'm rethinking whether to do much besides
using ACR and letting Qimage do the rest. (IMHO, sharpening is one of
those things in the digital darkroom that will jerk your wits right
out your head and burn them with kerosene. <g>)
