Excuse my repeated promoting of the RH Designs gear, but I will freely admit
to being stymied with printing until I got my analyzer and timer. It was
like all the mysteries of the universe suddenly got solved. I literally had
thousands of hours of darkroom experience, but within minutes I learned how
to actually print.

There was this one negative which I struggled on. I don't recall exactly
how many hours now, but this one picture I had worked on for weeks without
success. Five button pushes later, this analyzer was telling me something
totally stupid. I thought "what garbage this thing is." But I tried it
anyway. The very first test print was superior to anything I had achieved
up to that point. A couple of tweaks later, and I had my perfect final
print.

There is no going back to guessing.
