Hi Wiliam,
Denny's is a chain of low-cost restaurants. You do not go there for a
healthy meal, but it will be tasty and you will not have an instant
heart attack, unless you make it part of your daily diet.
In general, I do not think that you will have any problems. As someone
who has lived about half of my adult life in the US and half in
Europe, I can tell you that for a visitor, few places are more
welcoming.
