To me, this picture, taken during one of the Semana Santa processions
yesterday, represents the essence of Leica photography. I do not mean
to sound pretentious. There were other photographers covering the
event with DSLRs and long lenses, and I am sure they got excellent
images for today's papers. I chose to stick with the M8 and a 35mm
lens, and instead get as close as possible to the participants:
