Thanks, but some have proven unfixable and others are yet to be tried. 
I also discovered a faint, very light gray ghost image of the aperture 
on some frames.  I don't know if that's flare or something else. 
Elsewhere in the frame where that occurs there was some technicolor 
flare as well.  That's usually what's seen when it gets too close to the 
sun.  I know it occurs at the 20mm end.  I'll have to see if it also 
occurs on the 40mm end.
