Way to go, the only colour I do at this stage is slide film. Of course,
it's all just for fun, so if you ignore the "work" part of your  
photography,
we are in the same boat in that regard then. If/when I can manage to  
find the
newly-released Ektar negative film in 120 format here in South Africa,  
and
once I get a decent scanner, I might very well switch - I've seen  
amazing
things from Ektar via forum postings etc. on the web.

I find it interesting that you have such an aversion for Provia,  
though. I
am really a fan of Provia, though I do admit I've never shot it in  
35mm, so I've
probably never even picked up any meaningful resolution difference  
between it an
Velvia 100 which I also shoot from time to time.

I think you've inspired me to shoot more Velvia, though I am ever  
conscious of it's
even smaller practical dynamic range than Provia beause of the high  
contrast. But those
colours... sure are pretty.
