Almost awake on this cloudy Sunday afternoon, and lots of things to do.

What you observed, Ken, left me wondering -- and what follows is a mere 
speculative half-asleep thought.

I don't doubt you're right regarding photography, but I immediately 
recalled some painters: many of the 'impressionniste' school which I saw 
at the musée D'Orsay, and maybe Leonardo too, and maybe others I feel 
lazy to recall ... Nonetheless, I agree that Van Gogh overcompensates 
with color anything he didn't want to paint sharp, so did Picasso I 
think, during his first two periods before his cubist illness stroke him :-)

Now, I must go out - then I'll take a look again at Moose's photograph, 
because my first glance at it was like a pleasant dream, until I 
realized it was Sunday, not Monday :-)
