Hmmm. That's not been my experience with mine. Fairly recently acquired 
from a list member, I found the sharpness of my first roll just OK, 
nothing to get excited about. And a couple of shots were carefully 
measured and set for subject distance.

Nothing to complain about. It certainly takes decent pictures. And I get 
to play with a camera than has intrigued me a bit over the years.

Perhaps the difference may be in how the images are prepared and viewed. 
Wet darkroom prints, particularly B&W of modest size, are a different 
thing than 4000 dpi scans viewed on a computer screen. Seen that way, 
mine just don't measure up to a Zuiko 50/1.4.

Or perhaps we simply have samples on opposite ends of the QA curve. :-)
