I think you should be able to accomplish the same shot with about 1/2
the number of exposures. From the dimensions given it appears you must
have been overlapping the frames by about 2/3. That may be necessary in
areas where there is little detail but, in most cases, an overlap of
about 1/3 is adequate. If the only things in the photo were the grass
and trees in the foreground (which can move a bit with the wind) then a
2/3 overlap might have been required or at least would have assisted the
software. But the very rigid and rectangular lines of the buildings in
the background give plenty of info for the software to use for accurate
positioning. With lots of rigid detail you may even be successful with
as little as 10% overlap but that's probably pushing it.
