I don't know.

I was sure of the answer, but double checked. I opened a file, checked
that it was indeed aRGB, ran Intellisharpen II, checked again, and it
was still aRGB.

Under Edit=>Color Settings, do you have the boxes "Profile Mismatches:
Ask When Opening" and "Missing Profiles: Ask When Opening" checked? In
the same settings box, is "Working Spaces - RGB:" set to Adobe RGB (1998)?

If not, you may have Adobe RGB set as working space yet open an sRGB
file and work on it in sRGB without knowing it.

Likewise, it's possible to have sRGB set as your working space and not
know it. Then, without the mismatch warnings set, it's possible to open,
edit and save aRGB files with no trouble, but files without a profile
and sRGB files will appear just the same as aRGB files if you don't
specifically check.

I've often thought it's too bad the image box header doesn't show the
version of RGB. If you know what your working space si and have the
mismatch alarms set, you should always know.

I've used Intellisharpen II at least hundreds of times, probably over a
thousand. I don't believe it has ever done something it isn't supposed to.
