You asking me if I would take just a 100mm lens for my 5D?  Ha, ha.  No 
way.  You'll run out of image width in London in about 30 seconds.  Take 
the 12-60 or both if you can since you'll eventually run out of aperture 
with just the 12-60.  No doubt the 12-60 is f/4 at 50mm.  Three stops is 
a bunch.
