OK, Just for discussion, I've incorporated some enhanced acutance and
local contrast
as per Moose's sugegstion, hopefully without totally 'overcooking' it,
and I left the
original printed border (from the neg carrier) intact, what do you
think:

P.S. I still think tis is not the best image, but I'm using it now as
a discussion of
presenting wet-printed images on the web: Is it better to artificially
push acutance and
contrast a bit like this, in order to convey a bit more of the impact
of the print, even
though it's not "the same" ?
