Jez, you are right, but of course you are talking to a bunch of
unwashed barbarians who insist on calling them French fries even
though they are rightfully Belgian.
Pierry Wynants (of Comme Chez Soi) has a frites recipe in his book!
I could go for real vlaamse frieten right now :-)
