I am sorry but why are you helping this guy by pointing out some potentially
valuable items?
Here are the facts: 1) You don't know him, 2) He is getting rid of Olympus
stuff instead of keeping them/using them, so he clearly has no appreciation,
only monetary expectations, 3) He is asking a crazy amount of money.
I would not help him by pointing out what has value and what has not... Let
him figure it out for himself.

needs some basic, efficient film equipment!"
At $950????
Ignoring him will be the right thing to do.
Or, if you can snap the valuable telescopic extension for $25 and let him
try to sell the rest for $925, that would be nice too.
