I actually have a collection of those old mags.  It's always fun to leaf
through them once in a while.  I amazes me how aggressive Pentax was in the
sports-photography arena, even though they weren't overly successful.  The
staff photographers continued to use Nikon (and some Canon), but the
freelancers did buy Pentax in droves.
