I wasn't here for that project. Having read some about it, I was 
surprised when I sat down to peer deeply into two 24/2.8 lenses, one SC, 
one MC. Yes indeed, there were different colors, but the most striking 
thing was how much dimmer the MC reflections were. That's the point, of 
course, but it interested me how immediately obvious it was which lens 
was MC without bothering to check individual reflection colors.

Yes, I think it's clear that there was a continuous development of MC 
technology during that time.
