Hi Dawid, Siddiq, Fernando and all,

I have some of it in the fridge... I think I should use it more. Have you
rated it at 1600?

Great lens. I was about to say that's beyond OM-1's metering range... but
now I recall you don't use the built-in meter!

>OM-1, 90/2.0M wide open, 1/30s

By the way, both are great shots.

Although I'm not particularly fond of grain, it works well for these
pictures. And the freedom of such a fast film with a fast lens is amazing...

>P.S. A landscape with the 90/2.0 at f/8, shooting Pan F at ISO32.

The opposite extreme ;^) I like Pan F a lot.

But still a fine picture!

I've got a cute Gossen SixTry selenium meter (1957 or so) which I use with
my vintage cameras. Works great, but unfortunately is far from the
sensitivity desired with 3200 film :-(

BTW, I recently put a battery in the OM-1n and shot a roll of Astia 100F --
mostly with the great 24/2, BTW. Many shots were based on the Sunny-16 rule
an derived, and came out perfectly exposed. But the few ones I "had" to use
the meter were somewhat underexposed... and some pics, supposedly focused on
the matte field, were out of focus...

Now I have discovered the reason: from a previous astrophotography session,
I had the 1-7 screen in it -- it has NO matte field, and although would work
OK in OTF (it's so easy to get used to good things!) it throws off meter
readings in OM-1 or OM-2 in manual... :-( Senior moment?

You're no longer the Fernando I knew!!!! :-)
