Howdy Orin,

I did that, I had it tightened down, so that the red indicator was all
the way to the bottom. I guess there is a problem with head. I'll try
and take it apart and to clean. The 3265 came out of a studio, I assumed
it was in good condition. I also checked the Manfrotto catalog and the
specs didn't give me any confidence. I was using it with a Tamron
60-300. A little heavier than a Zuiko 300m. In any case I'm not happy
with the ergonomics. When properly setup with the lens pointed in the
indicated direction. The grip lever is on the left, a real stretch for
my fingers from the right side, and I have big hands. I'll check for an
adjustment on the lever. I found the 3025 much easier to use. I like the
short knobs. They are easy to reach without moving far from the camera.

PS I was surprised that this had gone through. It didn't show up with
the subscription mail. Gmail maybe part of the problem.
