Cute, but not a chipmunk. The stripes on chipmunks go right on across
neck and on across face. Also, they are smaller and skinnier.
This little fellow is another Golden Mantled Ground Squirrel. Size/body
shape, stripes, golden fur around neck and up back of head and range are
all correct. Nothing else in NA looks like them.
