I think he means in a darkroom on silver-gelatin glossy, archivally
processed and air dried. I USED TO do that! No more though, chemicals got to
me, and my Nikon film scanner and Epson printer with the new fiber based
inkjet papers really gives better quality (And I was a VERY VERY good
darkroom printer so it wasn't lack of skill)
