Thanks Brian but I haven't installed it and what you mention is not in the
documentation! So, as asked separately, does it show a grid or what? (to help
align verticals or horizons)

Rotate has three possibilities
Left, Right, & Other Other is what you are looking for. You should
have seen a message to this effect when you let your mouse pointer hover
over the word.
