Last year I coined the term "DDC" which means "Delayed Digital Capture".
In the professional audio world, we also have the acronyms ADD, AAD, DAD,
DDD... which all correspond to what stage in the process analog and digital
is used. ADD is Analog recording, but the rest of the process is digital.
Like Ken Rockwell (RealRAW), I'm very much in favor of the ADD sequence in
imaging.
