John,

It helps to develop contacts.  When I recently bought a Sony HDTV, I asked 
my fiber optics provider if they would give me one?  They looked around the 
office and brought one right out.  I knew that, had I had that TV when they 
installed the FO system, they would have hooked it up for free.
