Iwert,
All my experiences with Ffordes have been good. I have sold a lot of
equipment to them - they give fair prices. I have also bought a lot of
equipment from them, all of which has been conservatively described.
In fact a Leica M6 body in black, and a M6 body in titanium finish, both of
which were described as E++ were virtually MINT!

As soon as I found the problem I phoned Ffordes. They described the lens to me,
it has "cleaning/coating marks on the front element and marks which could be
the beginnings of the problem I have with mine. :-(

Looking on the web it seems that the lens does suffer from front element issues.
Depending on cost/availability I am leaning towards New element or re-cementing.
If the cost is prohibitive, or element not available I will look out for a
Tamron SP.
