Tiger Balm smells interesting and works but it merely blocks the pain  
receptors, by overwhelming them as I understand. This has a relaxing  
effect on tightness and spasm but it doesn't work like a true anti- 
inflammatory like diclofenac. I use a slow release Naprosyn (Naproxen)  
that helps with back and legs.
